BATTERY NOT CHARGED - NEW AUX/MAIN - ALT GOOD
My battery died while at the store. Called out AAA to jump. Message on dash said, Battery not charging. Ordered a new Main and AUX batteries. Now message on dash in Bold Red, BATTERY NOT CHARGED. Went to have the alternator tested and all of the batteries tested as well as clear any error codes. The Alternator tested fine and is charging just fine. There were No error codes and batteries are fully charged. But I can't close nor move around this message on the dash. Might anyone have any suggestions? Can the dash be reset?

Hello MBZ Family.
Here is the resolution. I went to 2 different shops as well as to the dealer. The dealer Mercedes Benz of Sacramento wanted to charge me nearly $4500 to replace the instrument cluster. In actuality, that price may have went much higher as there was actually 2 problems. The two problems were the Instrument cluster as well as the FRONT SAM and Software Update. Star Motors in Sacramento CA (ALVIN) suggested I reach out Silver Star Motors in Carmichael CA (John). Within 36 hrs, and $1638, I had my car back. There are similar issues other people had but they could remove the error from their message screen. My error would not allow me to remove the error. It stayed consistent on my screen. So Hopefully you don't experience any of these issues. Just to Diagnose the problem, It cost me approx. $500 and that was before the repair costs.
