Tranny mount damage
Question.
I installed a MB tranny mount few months ago. At that time my engine mounts were shot, lots of buzzing at low revs.
I installed new MB engine mounts and all is better.
Could the old engine mounts damage the new tranny mount? Could I have ruined the new tranny mount with my work out engine mounts.
Had the car on the lift and cant tell if there is anything wrong with it. Looks ok.

Very unlikely bad motor mounts would damage the transmission mount. It is the vibration that ruins mounts, over time. Your motor mounts are fluid filled, vibration and wear destroy the rubber, causing leaks and collapse. Transmission mounts are more of a bracket without any fluid filled elements, nothing to get damaged in a short time.
