Service required
Hi, i'm driving an s550 2007 and around two weeks back it gave an error message of service B. I had the service done but we didn't reset the service internal from STAR computer. I just let it go and the kms on the service B overdue kept piling up. Around 1200km the car refused to be shifted into gear and this message popped up (service required do not shift gears). I saw a lot of posts on this forum and i did the manual override by going into assyst plus in the car. It ran for a day or two and then the same message popped up again. I tried resetting through assyst plus again but it started saying 'Assyst plus error" and it didn't work.
I will take it to the dealership somehow, but i wanted to know if it happened to someone else and how they got over it. Cause someone mentioned that it will be a transmission fault and I don't want to be bamboozled by it if it's not.
