2012 S350 Blutec W221
ABS wheel speed sensor
Greetings. .need some help please. I have the Pre-Safe error appearing on my dashboard. This has been diagnosed as a defective ABS front wheel speed sensor. I am awaiting delivery ex Germany, and would like to procure the correct items as backups and also the rears just in case. Is there someone that could kindly provide the part numbers for front and rear ABS wheel sensors for VIN WDD2210262A376553..much appreciated.

It’s not a difficult job to replace them, taking the wheel off is hardest part. Couple of clips and done.

The connector is a bit tricky as it connects with another wire, which I don’t remember what it is. The thing is to first pry the wire locking clip up and remove it before pulling the connector apart. This wire clip is kind of difficult to see first.

I believe the other wire the connector “mates” to is for the air strut

We hear reports of one speed sensor failing, getting replaced, and then the other side fails. You might think about replacing them in pairs. Not expensive.

Whilst you have the wheel arch liner undone it makes sense to clean all the dirt and debris from the corners of the wheel arches and treat them to help keep any corrosion at bay...
