Replaced y2 and y3 sensors now P0642 fault?

2007 S550 722.9 transmission. So I replaced y2 and y3 sensors (has the 2767 and 2768 faults as well as limp mode) and while doing the ATF flush it popped a P0642 fault. Any thoughts before I drop the pan again and try to re-solder the sensors? Thanks in advance for any help.

only thing I found was a bit about resistance - so maybe dodgy soldering - do u really see this as a viable DIY job ? the time to do it wrong and redo is more than fitting a new one ?

A problem after you fix something is always the result of something you screwed up trying to fix it. Knowing this makes it easy to diagnose, but a pain in the *** to have to go back through your own work Lol

Yeah I am mulling that over before going back out there this morning. I has to be the soldering, they have me hell getting the old ones out, both the solder connections and physically removing them, especially the long one (y3?) it came out in pieces.

Wouldn't a new conductor plate be easier?

i recommended a new conductor plate because I have same problem with Y3/8N3 and I tried to replace 8N3 sensor for twice but not successful. I identified that problem is not due to sensor but perhaps due to 8N4 - TCU CPU: when the error code is erased, if I watch live data speed sensors then I realized that output sensor value is 0 when the car moving is less than 10km and for more then 10 km then sensor have value and error code is set. Once error code is set then output sensor value seem be okay even car move very slow (1-2km/h) so I believed that sensor is good but TCU ECU is a culprit of problem.

Solder Y3/8N3 sensor to plastic circuits printed is not easy, potential of poor contact then therefore i'm using wiring to make sure that it connected properly
