Grinding under breaking.

I had new pad installed few months ago, eve pads.
front pads are a bit noisy under braking I noticed. Like a robbing noise. Folks here said the pads didn’t seat well.
now I’m getting a rumbling noise only when braking from 20-0 mph. Not at higher speeds.
It’s goes away once I drove for 10 min or so.

rotors ? Or front bearings?
08 4 matic. Cv joints don’t make any noise when turning. No squealing.

Thanks.

there are BIG reasons the manu fit the pads they do - noise, pedal feel, consistency, life span etc.

non stock pads could do anything and in today's world are often fakes from china made from a washing up sponge

wash off the dust and take 200 miles to gently bed in any new pad - if you don't like the noise - put the old ones back and see how it drives etc.

Thank you.

Pads were EBC pads from fcp euro. I was so tired of brake dust. These are great with dust. But that’s about it. Brakes were super smooth with stop old pads.

so not a bearing ? Get new oem pads ?
