Car shuts all computers off upon exit
Hi everyone,
I have to manually enter the vehicle and as soon as I put the key in ignition, all the computers come to life. Clock restarts and the car starts right up and no problems while driving.
However, as soon as I take the key out of ignition all the computers lose power and I even lose central locking.
Apart from this my speakers also makes this cracking noise and my command knob fights me everytime I try to change menu's. Also my massage seats preset to 0 anytime I select otherwise.
Could this all be related? Maybe a battery issue but I heard there are three of them in this car lol.
Thanks for reading
and your time

I greatly apprexiappreciate your response as a matter of fact I got it checked at the nearest auto zone and they said the rear main battery is holding zero charge and the one in the front under the hood is 100% but still says bad battery. Alternator was good. I was doubting it could be the aux battery so I went ahead and bought and tried to replace it. To my surprise there was no aux battery or a place to put it under the sterring wheel area. I saw a couple of DIY videos but it was just not where it was supposed to be. Maybe it doesnt come in my edition.

its a 25kg mega battery in the boot... a 2' by 4' flat trim piece at rear of the boot comes out.... behind in a space in the boot, but effectively behind the right rear passenger seat (trim might have one fastening at the bottom, nothing else, it just wedged in groves of the side trims... when refitting don't catch the cheap metal brackets at the top holding the upper boot trim up
don't forget the thing might still have power from the front and above it is a box to work out how to send power between the one in the front and this one

its was only in 2007 or earlier... minor face lift put a massive one under the bonnet - if you have RCA aux in the glove box I think u only get front battery
there was a recent thread inside last 4 months ? about the minor other small battery in the dash - not sure what it does or what cars have it

The very small battery inside the dash is for cars that have a gear shift lever in the steering column (electric gear range selection) and no other backup battery. Cars that have a big battery at the rear and the starter battery at the front or cars that have the main battery plus a stop/start battery, do not have this small backup battery for the Intelligent Servo Module.
