I have a S350 2006 recently bought with a problem, on the central console none of the command buttons light up of function besides the hazard button which works perfect and lights up, I need to mention that the lighter works and also the main screen lights up and only shows Mercedes Benz and logo, I’ve rudimentary checked some of the fuses in the engine department and they seem pretty fine, if anyone has a little bit of an idea please help, anything will be considered, thank you for reading. I’ve attached a photo maybe it helps

Most likely the previous owner spilled some type of liquid on the buttons. Like coffee or whatever.
you can but the button assembly on eBay. This happened to me as well. I would try to see if you have a friend that has the star computer and scan that particular module and see what comes up.
