Command not working

Command not working
So I have a 2009 S550. The display doesn't turn on and stays black. The CD changer does not load or eject any CD and when you select a disk the button doesnt light up. All the fuses seem good. I have disassembled the headunit from the car. The unit gets warm so I assume there is power running to it. I opened the harddrive bay and the disk is spinning. the model number is a BE 7012.
I used my launch diagnostic too to scan for codes and nothing related to that. I was able to get the screen to engage through the test mode on the launch and have it say diagnosis, do a color test and a stripes test. the climate controls showed up breifly but the screen went black. I'm not sure what I should do from here. Should I get a new headunit or is the issue something else?

Hi Besnikbx:
Any chance you hit the button to the lower right of the console wheel? I know this is a shot in the dark, but guess who also thought their Comand screen died?
