Limp mode, what is it?

So, my 2007 Mercedes S550 I got a message"ABS and ESP Inoperative. It went into limp mode I managed to get it home. I use a diagnostic tool to see what the codes are and it said throttle valve actuator not communicating or faulty. The check engine light came on but I can reset that and clear it but still the problem persist. I did it hard reset by Pressing the start button but not starting for three more minutes for it to reset it seems to be going into drive and reverse accelerator worked but soon as it got warm….same limp mode. Mechanic replaced the throttlebody and seals, ABS sensors. Still limp mode when it warms up. Thoughts?

Limp mode can be result of too low fuel pressure.
