2008 S550 4Matic Info Screen keep restarting after newer Iphone pair
I am new to MB. My 2008 S550 4Matic is having issue on the screen, warning "Caution! Using COMMAND must not divert your attention away from road & traffic condition" then "Activating telephone, please wait" and then "MarcedesBenz" Logo and keep rebooting in the loop. That happen after I tried to pair my Iphone with the car! My question is "is that MAJOR problem???? what do I need to do to fix it, if any one knows. Or, will that be costly fix if I take it to the local MB shop?
I was reading some posts and the issue is leading toward " Software update or software reinstalling Command Center module" may needed. Anyone knows, how much it normally cost for that kind of service? Thank you all

2010 MB S550, 2017 MB SLC 300
Mine goes through stages where it will reset itself while I'm using the phone and charging the phone through the USB at the same time. About a month ago while on a trip to Vermont it reset itself so much that it crashed itself into a hard reset. I lost all my saved data. I am still having the soft reset issue, although it's not as frequent since the hard reset.
