Since I got my 08 S550 a couple months ago The keyless go system did not work. I had a scanner put on it and below is what it gave me.
I took of the right rear door panel and swapped out the antenna with one I ordered and still have the same problem. I checked the wiring as far as it would allow and it was ok. I even changed out the keyless go module to rule that out but no dice. I’ve read on here in the many threads that a scanner such as the Autel might not pick up all the antennas, so I may very well have another antenna gone bad. I even checked all the door handles wiring and the drivers door was the only one with a broken connection which I repaired, since then I now get “key not detected” on the dash when I put my hand on all door handles, wasn’t getting that before. A further scan after changing out antenna says open circuit for the same rear door but stored. Is there a special scanner or way of clearing keyless go codes? Push to start also doesn’t work as expected since it’s all tied in.
