Hello I love the Mercedes conversation!!
I have a 2008 S550 with 54000 miles after I ride around for a little bit, put it in park the car seems to think it is still moving the navigation moves and the car will not let me go in reverse. I can put the car in drive hit the gas and move up a bit and then maybe it will let me go in reverse! Any one experience this before? I did replace the value body on the transmission still having this problem.

Is your dash lit up like a Christmas tree? I guess I was thinking wheel speed sensors somehow. Or ISM (shift motor/module). Or, do a full code scan and post results.
