I have this screen on my 2013 S500... I didn't have to code it.
Once you select the 'Trip' option on the menu, then use the UP and DOWN arrows on the steering wheel
to see the speed / consumption and other Trip options...

but you can't just flash any old one's at any car... it MUST be compatible, the car must support sending the data, and its brain has to be big enough to add larger files (and I believe its brain is too small and dim on the early cars)
in the case of an early 221 V8 they never added the speedo unit KPH to MPH change, let alone exotic extras like the hidden AMG race timer or the Fuel display you want
with so much of the cars systems linked and or controlled via multiple can bus networks to the cluster - there's quite a risk you will destroy things - writing the function file takes 35 mins - the whole set of 4 they claim 90 mins

none of them - the option you want is in a later car with a later list in its software I've never seen - no one knows about these cars, the manufacturer doesn't really have anyone left that understands it anymore - and worse no longer care, they moved on with something more exotic they understand even less
you'd need someone with a later car to plug their's in to dealer kit and pull the later info off their car - then share what software file it is...but it won't go on your car, and even if it did the info that drives it is probably in their engine ECU's map of madness it won't be there on your car...
playing like windows old software of 15 years ago, or an android systems is not how car manus do it - they spend more time and effort making it almost impossible for anyone to understand what they are doing, than they do making its start and drive well.... they have too - if you can see why the brakes don't work and someone died the shxx would hit the fan - and then make it so it won't write to anything that wasn't designed to take it
