W221 S500 no power
I have S500 W221 drove some 30km today, no issues and ran well. Parked in my garage. Several hours later I decide to run out again. I get in car and noticed no cabin lights, no dash light, no door power closing, no nothing. The car is electrically dead and seem no power, except light in the trunk but hydraulic open and close the trunk also not working . Out of car the key does nothing. I checked battery which was at 60%. I charged to 100% and still no power.
What the heck is going on? Need assist here.
Thanks!

not sure - disconnect the battery - charge it fully and see if it wakes up happy?
if its got a good battery (as in like new and with support as you go testing), but still doesn't play ball - you'd need to hunt fusible links and other electrical issues till you get power to where the car first expects to find it - I don't know where that is

so it was loose and getting hot rather than some else wrong trying to pull too much current ?
glad its back running
....mega cables like these and bolt on fusible links need checking for tightness now and then on all vehicles - but one must be aware of the impending catastrophe doing it live and shorting your tools out on bodywork, engine parts, bonnet stays, other connections etc.
