My car is vibrating when its cold. Mercedes (S-Class (W221)
I drove my car all summer and there was no problem even when i used AC, but later it started making weird noises when i used AC but completely calm when i turn off AC and i thought maybe the Engine is ware or something ... now its cold season and whenever i start my car, without putting on AC or Heater, its vibrates, especially when i put it in drive, or reverse or stop.. but when i throttle it,its smooth again ..and then after driving for an hour or something, the car doesn't vibrate anymore, even when its in stop or reverse or drive.. so im guessing something gets cold and the car vibrates, i don't even know what to think
this didn't happen last winter.
Has anyone else experienced this with their W221 ????? im totally broke to go do diagnostics now, thats why i just want to know if the problem is a huge or or something i can fix

Sounds like basically when the engine is under load, you have the issues. Could be the basics. Check the air filter for dirt/debris. Pull the plugs and see how they look; they could be dirty and need replacement, or at least some cleaning. This won't cost you anything.

its is very common the coil pack fails (bit on to of each spark plug) - they are interchangeable on the v8 petrol with each other - the V8 has 8 coil packs but they don't all die at once - and you can try second-hand ones and swap one at a time - half work half don't, the v6 petrol uses the same part
NEVER drive a modern car with a misfire it will damage the car - if you can feel the exhaust outlet clearly missing a beat - its likely a coil pack - but ignore and it can escalate and might have started with a mechanical issue. If you put diagnostics on it would tell you which cylinder to look at - its 10mins job to diagnose and 20min job to swap one coil pack

You need to check codes. If there are no codes (I sincerely doubt this will be the case), I would check your engine and transmission mounts. As the engine mounts slowly deflate their oil and crush down, sometimes there will contact between the frame and the engine inducing severe vibration. You can check an engine mount by holding the brake on tightly and slowly accelerating the engine in drive, if the engine rises up or shifts to the side; you need to replace the engine mounts. It is a fairly typical repair on older Mercedes especially those not well maintained.
