recently my car was at independent Mercedes shop and I was informed that plug going to the parking brake actuator is faulty and would need to be replaced as the pins inside the plug are messed up. The shop quoted me $245 plus tax to repair it. The part itself is $12 the rest is labor. I think there is 6-7 wires that would need to be soldered. I think the price is big much for hr worth of worth. The reason for the repair is the canbus is not communicating with the actuator as it’s cause of the messed up pins.
