So the other day my dad heard a bang and saw the front left side dropped just like in the picture, its a 2010 S500/550 and its been sitting in the garage for too long. My question is do I need to replace the whole suspension or just the airbag?
std is air tragic - if you have a puddle of oil you'll have ABC and will need it towed
if air tragic, see if the level sensor has fallen off, its just above the top of the front tyre inner most side.... won't be as easy as its on the floor - jack up that wheel and compare if a small 5" long silver pencil sized bit with black ends is hanging off one end
be aware air suspended cars can squash you.....

there’s no oil on the floor and when i turn the car on the compressor starts working and gets the car a little bit higher and then it drops down again
I replaced the whole suspension and everything is smooth there is just one problem, when I turn the car off only the suspension that i replaced gets lowered and goes back to its normal height when the car is turned on.
with airmatic then the level should never change (although with significant atmospheric pressure leaps and or temp variation an element of breathing occurs when parked day to day). The system never changes its level key on to key off or vice versa. If you see this its either been messed with or there is a fault....
