2008 S550 washer pump connection?
Hi All,
Was changing my driver side headlight and noticed fluid started pouring out. What is this little thing that broke off the washer pump? Part number? I need to replace both pump and this little thing.
thanks

That hose runs from the pump to the hood and then to the sprayers. It has a heater wire inside it so you can't repair it with replacement sections or barbs. It's also not available anymore as a replacement. I put it somewhat into the right position on a new pump and then loaded it up with 2-part epoxy. I'm not even sure mine works anymore. I have a black car so I don't want to use it. Water spots suck.

I had the same issue. You're not going to like it...

Finally got this done, the hose I got from eBay seems to be a smidge longer, maybe about 1.5” longer. I had my headlight out so this was far more easier than trying to finagle from the top between the washer reservoir. I changed out the pump, snapped on the heated element hose and started feeding the hose on the driver side. There is a rubber grommet u gotta separate that the hose and harness passes through. After that it’s to remove the underside black plastic hood trimmings that are held by tabs and a couple small screws. The trim drops and u take out the old hose and snap the new ones in. Reassembly is reverse. Didn’t take pictures unfortunately but it was maybe a half hour job. Hardest part was figuring how to remove the underside hood trim. All works as it should!
