No Audio, No Fan after centre console removed.
I recently removed the centre console from my 2007 s class to fix the button which opens the central storage compartment. I successfully "repaired" this problem by basically removing the use of one of the buttons. I refitted the console and all the electrical connectors but now I have no audio from radio or cd or aux and also no heater/air con function. All the buttons on the centre console work, seats, power on/off, rear headrests, smc etc, the wheel funtions and if i load a cd it loads but doesnt play. There are also no radio stations visible when you select radio. Its really wierd. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have checked all the electrical connections and am now stumped!

Yes, checked everything is not kinked, ive tried it with it raised up even so all the cables are straight and still the same. I did wonder whether to try disconnecting the auxiliary battery to "reset" it?

Check associated fuses if fine pull for several minutes in an attempt to reset:
Front SAM (engine compartment)
f51 (7.5A) COMAND display
Left dash
f104 (40A) Harman/Kardon (code 810) amp
f107 (5A) satellite radio
Rear SAM
f122 COMAND controller (7.5A)
f149 (5A) VCS
If this fails video instructs how to find possible malfunctioning device in MOST loop.
