Euro Spec S600 / CL600 front brake calliper help

Hello All,

I posted this in the CL (216) area but here isn't much happening there....wondering if the euro spec S600 (221) has the front calipers im looking for. I've seen a few very old threads on CL 600 (Maybe S600 too?) European spec brake conversions on CL 550s / S550's etc.

In North America they just came with a four piston front calipers (on the 550's)

I am looking to purchase the six piston, front callipers and carriers from a CL600 and hoping someone could help me out with euro spec information and part numbers.

Would be massively appreciated as there's no information on this readily available in North America.

Hello!

I can personally recommend this website to provide assistance with acquiring the part numbers, although it is not very reliable in terms of VIN and specific part number look up.

While I'm not exactly certain about the fitment, I believe the part numbers you're looking for are A0034209383 (Driver) & A0034209483 (Passenger), Brake pads (A0054206620), Caliper bolts reference two different part numbers (A 0004215174 & A 2214210074) which I'm unsure what the differences are.

In terms of acquiring the parts - one of the options is German eBay, or I've had luck with a Lithuanian second hand part market RRR, but be advised shipping is sometimes a hassle.
What are your intentions for the caliper upgrade? Are you looking for a better stopping power overall?

Thank you very much for the reply!

when I look on the parts catalogue link provided is just shows the 216 chassis for North America. Where did you find the part numbers you were so kind to provide?

Depends on the weather
I have not done the euro spec but I have done the front and rear E55amg swap (calipers, rotors and pads) and it's direct bolt on, even using the same bolts.

Why do you want to change to euro?

Went to German eBay, some listings had part numbers listed, the part number does populate correctly as used with the 216 Chassis
