Removing Transverse Control Arms
I asked this on an old thread, but it did not get any responses, so will try with a fresh thread.
I tried to move my upper transverse control arms last weekend. To do so, you need to unbolt the ABC struts from the top, and have them drop down to provide access to the bolts holding in the control arms. My ABC struts would drop a couple inches, but would not budge further. I had to button everything back up and abandon the project, for the weekend. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I could use force, but that did not seem wise on such a delicate part. I don't see anything obvious holding the strut up. I followed the WIS directions, so I'm thinking there is some trick of the trade I'm not doing.

I appreciate you taking the time to send me the PDF, however I actually was following the WIS directions. I think there's some trick to get these to drop down that a MB tech would instantly know how to do, but is just not detailed in WIS, or obvious to my eyes. I've got another large project going right now and my car is in pieces, but I'll try again after I finish that--maybe on the other side, and see if I get a different result.
