4MATIC front driveshaft replacement
How much should it cost to replace the front driveshaft on a 2008 S550 4MATIC? And how many labor hours involved?
I got a quote of $1700 with the part around $900 from Mercedes. Looking at fcpeuro's website, they have what appears to be a Mercedes part for $322 and a genuine Mercedes part for $738. It's fcpeuro with an unlimited warranty, so I don't imagine that would sell crappy parts. Don't want to get taken to the cleaners! Thanks in advance.
