Will these 18inch rims fit my 07 s550?
So I need to switch out my current after market rims because they weigh over 70 pounds each and my car is struggling to move them. S550 2007
Found some rims on marketplace that might work but want to be positive. They came off an A230. 18inches with staggered width of 8.5 for a pair and 9.5 for a pair.

Well, you can use spacer if you think you can't do without those wheels you mentioned . Spacer should do the trick for you

you should try search - everyone has been there before you
at birth European cars all had 17" rims and drove reasonably well - they then progressively ruined the ride and handling just to look good
17" x 8" ET43 offset wheels wheels running 235 x 55 x 17 tyres
unless you bought the V12 and that came with 18" rims - its what I'm running now, its horrible (aside from looks) every aspect about the car dropped 50+% backwards
18" x 8.5" ET43 wheels - running 255 45 18" tyres - these were a big cost option on all other models
then an option of a 18" staggered set up with wide rear wheels, caveat it must have tyre pressure sensors (I guess to tell you when they'd cracked) - and that you can't fit snow chains (as no clearance) these were
FRONT
18" x 8.5" ET43 wheels - running 255 45 18" tyres
REAR
18" x 9.5" ET43 wheels - running 275 45 18" tyres
then an option of a 19" staggered set up wide rear's but with the caveat it must have tyre pressure sensors (I guess to tell you when they'd cracked) - and that you can't fit snow chains (as no clearance) these were
FRONT
19" x 8.5" ET43 wheels - running 255 40 19" tyres
REAR
19" x 9.5" ET43 wheels - running 275 40 19" tyres
then an option of a 20" staggered set up wide rear's but with the caveat it must have tyre pressure sensors (I guess to tell you when they'd cracked) - and that you can't fit snow chains (as no clearance) these were
FRONT
20" x 8.5" ET43 wheels - running 255 35 20" tyres
REAR
20" x 9.5" ET43 wheels - running 275 35 20" tyres
wheels are not just round things that crack on today's roads - they are specifically engineered to have certain essential sizing to maintain driving characteristics and clearance the manu designed the cars suspension system to operate within
the fronts are critical to handling, vehicle dynamics and stability - the rear less of an issue as they don't steer on most cars - but massive damage to tyres leading to safety concerns - and or body damage as you have found - its why the manu had specific wheel sizes all listed in the handbook to go alongside specific tyre sizes
input wheel width and offset in here - https://www.willtheyfit.com/ - it will show what sorts of issues you'll get - then put in Merc 20" wheels and tyres as per the handbook and you'll see they fit

Found some rims on marketplace that might work but want to be positive. They came off an A230. 18inches with staggered width of 8.5 for a pair and 9.5 for a pair.

Just in general, I've learned the hard way never to buy used rims. They are almost always bent, cracked, or otherwise damaged, and the MB corporate policy is that their wheels should not be fixed other than cosmetically. Be wary of buying anything used. Pay a little more and buy new.

I bought my 18 inch OEM wheels here...I can vouch for the product and service. Great price, good shipping to US, and a supply of new wheels I literally could not find anywhere else.
