2008 mercedes s 550
Car wont start
I have a 2008 mercedes s class 550 and the car wont start. Alarm goes off when I manually open the door and hazard light go off along with the cabin lights however all other lights on the dash don't come up nor does the car respond to the remote start of the keyless entry. I changed the battery in the hood already but still no luck. Any suggestions?

The front battery is the starter battery. The rear battery is the consumer battery. If the rear battery goes flat and needs replacement, the car will shut down electrically systems selectively to prevent total battery failure. Low voltage causes all kinds of issues. You need to know that both batteries are fully charged and in good shape. Then pull the codes from a MB compatible scanner. Report back your codes.
