Center Console Multi Function Switch Control

I am having an issue with my middle console buttons. The only button that works is the hazard one. I didn’t spill anything on the buttons at all just completely stopped working. Checked fuses in front sam and nothing is blown. The picture below is for visual purposes only as this is not my part from my car. Any suggestions?

I think the radio and steering wheel buttons work with it disconnected - this part is easily bought on ebay for peanuts - NOTE lots of slight variances re massage seats and suspension gearbox modes... it also has updateable software - early one's were better made

its a pain to fit - the centre of the aluminium bit should be destroyed to remove and access the bolt without touching or damaging the aluminium knob - never risk trying to lever it out to save the $4 bit and so end up trashing a $150 unobtainable part

Botus,

I ended up getting a used one from eBay with a warranty. If this part doesn’t fix my issue then I need to look into the rear sam as a possibility of causing my issue. The only good thing about the w221 is that it’s diy friendly.
