S550 SRS Light
Gentleman I've got an 08 S550 with the dreaded airbag light on. I have a semi-advanced scanner and it reveals only one code and here it is verbatim:
91B4 The key ID stored in control unit N2/7( restraint systems control unit) is not identical with that received by control unit N73 (EIS [EZS] Control unit) DTC Status: stored
So my scanner will let me clear it and it says cleared successfully but then comes right back and the airbag light NRVER goes out. Did a bit of research there's nothing that says it's defective there's nothing that says the VIN doesn't match just this one strange code? Any advice would be greatly appreciated I wonder if it could be related to my key fob somehow? Just trying not to go to my local rip-off dealer.
