Depends on the weather
Picked up another car this weekend...but it's not a mercedes :-(

Well...I flew out to pick up another car this weekend all I can say is while the benz may be more luxurious, the tech in these is just amazing....while some is gimicky, it's still amazing how tech has advanced. Being able to just move your finger in the air to raise or lower the volume, etc. The heated armrest is something little but what a surprise in the cold months. Everything does get super hot...although, I've already picked up the cable to connect to the car and modify all of the settings such as temperature of the seats, heat, armrest, and all of the other options I can code connecting my phone and/or laptop to the OBD, allows connection to the ECU and modify every module in the car. So many adjustable options such as intensity of DRL lightning, led headlights, interior colors, logos on the display screen, degrees to lower the mirror when in reverse, start the car in sport mode, video in motion with just a button press, raise and lower the car, and a plethora of options. No cables to splice, no adapters to buy, etc. All able to be coded with just a few clicks.

Also, being able to use my phone to lock/unlock the car from anywhere, turn on ventilation at any scheduled time, the ability to see how much gas/miles I have remaining, turn on the lights, enable the surround cameras, etc. Just something new I suppose. The heated/cooled/massaging seats front and rear definitely win over the benz. I also like the wireless screen mirroring and streaming from my phone to the center screen and the rear screens.

The car has a bult in hotspot, so you can browse the internet on the tablet, which controls the entire car by the way and the automated footrest that folds down from the rear seat while brosing the web or watching a movie.

With red or cognac interior, it definitely looks more luxurious but I wanted black on black...actually, it was hard to find with the executive lounge seating package with the other options I wanted. Electronic M exhaust with valves are also nice.

I'm also surprised the rotors and calipers are bigger. The grills open and close depending on the amount of air needed..I've never seen that. AWD is also nice. It's fast...and easily tunable, which is nice.

Even the little things like pressing the button to eject the tablet and the tablet ejects in a nice smooth motion....it'll all wear off though and I won't be in the back to use it.

All this tech is just more stuff to break down though, right?

Anyway, enough rambling...all I need now is a driver. I found a Range Rover Autobiography with a similar rear seating package that is gorgeous that I have my eye on too.

Very cool. I think every garage should have one Mercedes and one BMW. The man with the most toys wins!!

I love it.

And whether or not you are thinking about selling the Beast. If so, I want to bid......
