Mercedes heater core flush

Hey does anyone know the ID hose for the hoses that are going on the inlet/outlet of the heater core? I want to do this flush below. I know there is a chance that CLR will hurt the heater core but at this point it might screwed anyway as it’s completely clogged.

modern coolant systems don't fill with gunk - unless some serious misbehaviour in the vehicles history - I expect using "products" available will cause much more harm than any possible benefit

Agreed. In the bad old days we would see radiators plugged up with silicates used in coolant. From the factory. After 3-4 years Many many radiators got ‘rodded out’ via removing end tanks and forcing rods through the cores to get the ick out followed by flushing. This is why ‘radiator shops’ have mostly dried up and gone away.

Modern coolant does not plug up radiators or heater cores.
