Yesterday I went to deliver a package and whenever I got back to my car the door handle had more resistance than usual but opened with slightly more pressure….
the problem is once I got in and closed the door the soft close didn’t engage.

This issue is only happening with the driver side door. After reading many threads there’s no definitive answer but I believe this part maybe the reasoning behind it (door actuator with soft close & Keyless Go) no clue how I would go about fixing this.

I believe this is the culprit because
whenever I open any of the other doors I can hear the mechanism disengage the latch and if I manually engage the latch with my hand & press it in far enough the soft close will engage on them & pull the latches inwards..

whenever I do this to the drivers side door you can’t hear the mechanism disengage whenever I open it or engage if I manually press the latch in.

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.
