2012 S550 Twin Turbo Throttle Body Location

Hey guys I just picked up a 2012 S550 twin turbo model with the m278 engine. I want to clean the throttle body just on principle because every once in awhile it idles a little rough but for the life of me I don't really obviously see where it's at.
I haven't gone pulling off the air boxes and intake pipes just yet but I was wondering if anyone has any photos or can point me in the near area where the throttle body is located before I start tearing things apart. My 2008 model was quite easy you just lift off the airbox and the throttle body was located towards the rear of the engine between the engine and the firewall. Appreciate any advice!

1. Don't do it, it won't help anything.
2. Don't do it.
3. If you must do it, get yourself a copy of Mercedes WIS and lookup the procedure

And before I started taking things apart, I would run a plastic bottle of Techron through the fuel system. Normally, I would say additives are crap; but my S600 loves this stuff. I run a bottle every other month. Buy it by the case online.

Well that is very discouraging to hear! My 08 S550 was running like crap and I cleaned the throttle body and it literally drove like a new car there was oil residue that had built up over the years so much so that you could hear it gurgling when the engine was running with the air box was off. Was hoping for maybe a similar result on this 2012 I just picked up. I've never been a big fan of miracle in a bottle cleaners cuz they just simply don't work. Just going to start pulling the engine covers and air filters till I find it I can't be rocket science it's just a machine you got to out think it

these days petrol is budget rubbish, and with emission control engine breather oil mist goes back in the inlet to mix with loads of dust that the air cleaner doesn't care about (mostly holds back leaves and grit) - so we end up with this crude burnt on to the very hot inlet valves with nothing to loosen and the injections gumming up with low quality designed to clog additives

add in the fact many fools assist google (using their mapping) deliberately blocking up the roads. Both together exacerbates things, leaving us with the power unit under-performing. Online maps have two purposes (with your stupidity) their spyware tracks you and thus understands exactly where to mess up the road network, re time traffic lights etc. to slow all the slaves down (why do you think the USA mkt stopped spyware free map updates in 2015 !)

thus we now have clogged up engines and CATs - putting back in the correct additives to clean up the mess does help - but 50 50 meth water atomised also cleaning up the burnt on dust

My 08 S550 had 212,000 Mi when the tranny finally died but the engine ran absolutely flawlessly burnt zero oil and had zero smoke however I did have to clean the throttle body every year or two
there would be oily residue right at the bottom of the throttle body which was being sucked in by the right rear breather anyway I know for a fact that cleaning this affects running because it was a night and day difference. I'll just start ripping things apart until I find it I was just hoping that somebody might know a procedure
