Bit late to the party, but I got a question

I got a problem with my radio, and I suspect it might be the consumer battery

Couple of days ago a drove a bit (1.5 hours with a small bathroom break in between) and measured my consumer battery
so without keys in the ignition, it gave 12.4V. Weird i thought, I just drove all the time, and last time i measured i only drove 10 minutes in 1 week and it measured 12.4v So i put in the Keys and turned them (just before starting the car) so everything came on.I checked the voltage. 12.03V.

With the engine on it gives 14.4V (just got a brand new alternator, old one was bad, so this cant be the issue)

Is 12.03 considered bad?

It may be on its way out.
Our Mercs suck a lot of juice even when just standing there with the trunk open so it's not too strange.
You can get the battery tested to know for sure.

why are we babbling about the battery - get a new tuner amp THEY ALL DIE

they first get flaky with sound dropping out randomly - when dead the display will be there but all the text and numbers of stations vanishes and the sounds is gone - the amp is dying - eventually it will be like this all the time
