2012 S550 AC Compressor replacement?
On the 2012 S550 ( Presumed to be the W221 ) Twin turbo.... has anyone seen a "how to" on replacing that compressor?
It seems VERY close quarters.
Any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated...
The stealership wants a grand for the compressor alone, and labor on top of that!
EDIT: After over an hour of pulling panels and crawling around under and over the car, I don't see a way to reach the back bolt on the compressor... At least not shy of removing frame components. Can this be?
Have things gotten so ridiculous as to require pulling the engine, or dropping sub frame assemblies to change an AC compressor?

OP when I got to replace the compressor in my ‘08 S-65 the radiator came out for room to pass it out top side.
I’ve not had the pleasure of doing one in a bent eight car. Less cylinders says a shorter block. May be more room in front of the engine.
If a fastener is hiding you may get to raise the engine/ drop the subframe to gain access.
May as well give it engine mounts at the same time.
This happens on a hoist. No getting around it.
