Glc rims 18x8.0 et 38 VS w221 oem 18x8.5 et43

I have the opportunity to buy a set of 4 18x8.0 , et38 . I would like to install on my 2007 s550 4 matic which is oem 18x8.5 et43. ,

These are the rims I want to use

Seems like they will bolt right on , I’m just concerned about the 255 tire which is on my car now , they are new . So wondering if there would be issues mounting on 8.0 rim , lugs should be the same . Any thoughts from anyone Thanks

It'll fit, but 235 is way too skinny of a tire imo. It may look like it's on bicycle wheels from the rear.

Edit: sorry didn't see that last line that you want to use your 255. Won't it look too "meaty" with such a thick tire on a 8.0 wheel? From your pics it seems like the 235 currently mounted are already showing a bit of bulge.

If you do go with this, post some pics after, I'm curious to see it.
