Mercedes gearboxes are fragile junk - putting gunk in will likely have undesirable and very expensive consequences - spend far less cleaning the mess up once a year ?

Yeah i'm with @BOTUS on this.
Replace the easy-to-replace seals and gaskets (and the filters and fluid while you're in there) and call it done.
