Hello.
I recently purchased a very clean '07 S550 and looking to do some upgrades.
Specifically, I want to change out the stock command head unit for a new Android 13 plug-n-play unit. I need Bluetooth capabilities for various reasons. I also want a backup camera that fits the stock appearance.
Has anyone done this upgrade? If so, what are your recommendations or suggestions?

you might also want to check out keeping the std set up and adding an android auto, apple carplay box of tricks - that way the screen ends up the correct size instead of a small wide thing
later visible ultra sonic parking sensors was MY 2007 update
if it has aux RCA phono sockets in the glovebox its a MY 2008 update
the pictures show it has the early car's nicer door mirrors and the make it look old fashioned, aged rear light clusters - both those (mirrors and rear lights) and an LED band around the headlights signify the later update, which also got the NTG3.5 head unit and different steering wheel buttons for the real MY 2010 facelift (which was around Oct 2009 build)
