split view doesn't show up in command

split view doesn't show up in command
Have P45 front entertainment package, and code 867 front passenger entertainment. Split view doesn't show up on command screen. Went to settings. I'm in NY state so it is legal. Have remotes. Is there someway to get it activated and does sombody in albany have the xentry coding system to activate it.

split view was an option and needed a different front screen...
yes if the right parts are fitted it can be coded to on - if you're point about the correct option 867 FRONT PASSENGER ENTERTAINMENT (Split View) is valid, and the car has its correct components fitted
I'd start with the owners manual - then try an expert to check its coding
either you've not read the manual or maybe someone replaced the comand unit or front screen with a cheap one

Thanks Botus I’ll try to get it working hopefully somebody has a coding device that looks at this thread that maybe can assist me in Albany Ny area. I work on my bmw motorcycles and have bought devices that let you code but haven’t done it for this vehicle yet. What is a good one to get if I have to buy it for dyi and about how much are they. Or can you do it a lot of stuff with a obd scanner

the best way to play with the utter inanity of how Merc do software and coding is to get help !!!
we nearly all use the best guy on the planet for Mercs - great bloke and it'll get sorted - whereas everyone else will rob you and mess it up - yes this one job should be simple (but it never ends up that way), and so much of the rest of the car will play up you'll be far better of doing it the right way first time
