Fuel Starvation around corners 2012 S550
Anyone else have this issue. My E class also did this sometimes though less dramatic.
Assuming its fuel pump or something?

The other thing I was thinking is the safety feature from the accelerometers that control power based on lateral "g" the car measures. I have noticed that with cruise control on the car slows down in curves that feel kind of tight. There is no warning from these of any kind, the car just slows down.
I don't think it is the fuel pump as the engine would shut down and for sure if you experience it for four seconds it cannot be the pump. Engine would be totally dead.
distronic plus - will rein in throttle and then brake if you throw it at a corner with cruise active

Turn off the safety nannies and see if the car was right... hmmm.
FWIW the ‘safety systems’ that pull throttle and apply brakes tend to intervene early, abruptly, and often. There tends to be a pretty big margin between between the car having a fit and a close call.
Best to try this somewhere with some runoff space.
now the nannies are at it all the time they are all just awful to drive...
those same nannies, in the engineers need to get them to work, has led to solid damping to try and allow the grip at each wheel to be consistent enough the electronics can ruin everything - they did such a thorough job of it, walking is now more pleasant than driving modern cars...
Real cars go around corners like this
