As it's heading to that time of year where the car gets covered with leaves and filled with water, here is a timely reminder to get cleaning...
Passenger side was cleaned out several months ago following a blower motor failure and subsequent waterfall discovery. Had to swap out the front SAM case thanks to a sheared bolt on the lid rendering it scrap, which gave opportunity to clear out the driver's side. Driver's side before. Driver's side after.
right side drain would not clear - took an hours fighting was 100% spot less 2 foot down - though I have to take the wheel off
before and after on the battery side
That's pretty much what it looked like under my battery too. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but no surprise that it eventually found it's way into the blower motor.
