Hi guys, I’ve been having this weird problem with my navigation where it’s stuck in this screen no matter what I do.

 

Maybe the Maps are for another part of the world, zoom and may see anything over the ocean...

 

Zoomed out and indeed I was in the middle of nowhere. I put in a destination to which the car said “preparing route” and nothing happened. Same screen.
does anyone have a fix for this?

 

GPS antenna dead - usual merc trick - never heard a 221 have it but they should do it - or somehow its lost its maps (but I've never know the harddirve based mapping do that either on a 221), but a failing hardrive is also std Merc build quality

if it has IR tint screen if you still have the original screen it has a cut at centre bottom to allow an antenna to be placed under the dash - otherwise headlining and the shark fin I believe

you could test by getting a $20 ebay generic one and plugging in the back of the comand it won't know any different
