Displaying gallons remaining in instrument cluster.
Picked up a 2013 S550 Base on New Years Eve and wanted to get gallons remaining in the tank on the instrument cluster. The 2007 4Matic that I have has this enabled. Using Xentry/DAS this is what I did in case you want to do the same:
"Control Unit Groups" - "Information and communication" - "IC - Instrument cluster (Central CAN bus)" - "Diagnosis to plant specifications" - "Control unit adaptations" - "Control unit adaptations (Variant Coding)" - "Variantenkodierung" - "Tankinformation" set to "aktiv"
Follow this up with "Control Unit Groups" - "IC - Instrument cluster (Central CAN bus)" - "Actuations" - Control Unit Reset
"Control Unit Groups" - "Information and communication" - "IC - Instrument cluster (Central CAN bus)" - "Diagnosis to plant specifications" - "Control unit adaptations" - "Control unit adaptations (Variant Coding)" - "Variantenkodierung" - "Tankinformation" set to "aktiv"
Follow this up with "Control Unit Groups" - "IC - Instrument cluster (Central CAN bus)" - "Actuations" - Control Unit Reset

set to without (ohne) to remove the Overwriting of ANY info on the cluster with a retarded irremovable Red pump symbol - as its utterly pointless and bloody irritating when the gauge already has the yellow warning light on
Tankinformation aktiv
show another additional information menu in the cluster when you toggle the steering wheel up or down arrows - note - at your last gallon, the reading is wild as the last dregs slosh around
