Squeaky Steering Wheel
Some little black plastic piece broke inside steering wheel and was sticking out the open crack. Couldnt pull all the way out but broke off small piece. Now steering wheel squeaks every move. Everything seems to work fine so not sure what broke yet. Asking if anyone has knowledge of this and for instructions on removing wheel to check out whats up. Squeak noise is driving me crazy. So found Youtube video (
) and it was pretty easy with the T30. Getting the main steering wheel bolt was hardest. Used impact wrench and it wouldnt budge. Had to use breaker bar about 2 feet long.
Turned out to be plastic piece thats next to the column adjust stick base somehow broke and was scratching inside stuff.
Probably could have fixed from outside. No squeak anymore.
