Was at NY Auto Show where the rep from MBUSA showed me a sheet that stated the 4WD S Class models are now November. 2WD September. FYI if you register you get a $500 gift certificate good for any Mercedes model.

What do you mean my "register"?

 

They had no details other than what was on the sheet. By register I mean you just give your name, address and email and then they send you the $500 certificate.

 

As the first person on the list for the S550 4matic at my dealership (big dealership in big U.S. city), this is unfortunate but not unexpected. Hopefully November is able to come to fruition.

 

Tom - Did they say anything about when the order system will open up for the 2014 S class?

 

I bet not before they reveal the car in May?

 

As usual, the reps at the dealership have limited information. I know the information I got is accurate at least for now as it came off a sheet from MBUSA. Sorry I do not know when the order banks will open.

 

S550 4WD are now December release. S550 non 4WD early to mid Sept. S63 4WD early Feb.
