Just got some bad news about some order delays with production. I knew these items were delayed but per my sales rep he has informed me that the following are now delayed indefinitely:
501: Surround View Camera Package
811: Burmester High-End Surround Sound Sys
867: Splitview
So much for hoping to get the car in Sept/Oct

yeah really, I am opting out of an early configuration until they start to arrive at dealers later this year........you'd think they would learn how to actually sell us cars by now! LOL!

Due to this "new" update by MB, according to the sales rep, he wanted to know if I wanted to proceed without the options to get car in production as planned or wait till options become available.

Placed order with deposit on May 16th but by the time they actually confirmed that my selected packages/options wouldnt delete a seat in the rear it probably went through a week after that.

Hi there! Long time lurker but finally decided to join up. I had a question about an option I've seen here and there called "Stop & Go Pilot". What is it exactly? Best info I've come across is is that it's an extension of the adaptive cruise control system but I can't seem to find any concrete info. It doesn't seem to be listed in any of the packages, even the Driver Assistance Package which seems like the most logical place to put it. I was wondering if that's included in the Driver Assistance Package but just not explicitly mentioned or if it's coming out later in a later model.

This is specifically designed for traffic jams and slow traffic. Up to a certain speed (think it's 37mph), the car will drive and follow the car in front of you. Full start to full stop, repeatedly. This differs from the standard distronic behavior with distance and follow-on speed.

Not a brainer for someone from Florida but for someone like me from Chicago it is a tough choice - do I go with Body Magic Control which I find super cool or do I just stick to 4matic?
