Bottom line, if you were able to get someone to sell you their demo and jumped the line to get it, you did a disservice to them by plastering it all over the internet. Under the table favors should be kept as such...

Wasn't anything under table about it but just in case I don't want him to get a call about it.

You supposedly have in your possession/name a car that is not even released for sale yet - you posted that on an enthusiast forum. What did you expect to have happen? At worst case, you are going to have someone who has to wait their turn do exactly what was apparently done here and find out why you were entitled to that car before they are even being delivered. At best, you're going to have someone here wonder why you are entitled to have that car now and question you here on that.

Agree with MDMercedesguy. What did you expect to happen? To get a car that isn't released yet is going to raise some eyebrows. I think this thread would have gone a different direction if the OP explained how he got the car before it's available. Not that he owes an explanation but if he's going to start a thread saying he got one, you have to expect the next logical question is how?
I don't think members questioning the OP is being jealous or haters, I think if someone has something that isn't available people are going to be curious.
Then to take down posts and change a profile is only going to hurt your credibility. If you got the car, congrats, but if you don't want the questions or attention to follow, you shouldn't have posted it in the first place.

I am a very good customer of Mercedes and loose more than your(03 CLK 430) car is worth when I sell each one of them in 6 months. I doubt they are going to tell me to stop buying $100k plus cars.. Germancar 1 are you ordering a S class? didn't think so. be back in 15 days.
Questions are fine but calling to try to cause trouble is a problem. Think I'm fake fine. I don't care. I have the **** I say I have. I started here at MBworld with a pile of **** 2000 S500 fixing it myself way back. Just wanted to share, regardless of what you think I don't have to answer every question. especially when the reason is to be a "hater" as someone stated.

What does me ordering a S550 have to do with anything? Simple question do you own the car or not and if so how did you get one before the official release date. That is the simple question everyone here wants an answer too. If you don't have the answer to either than people will call bull****. It is really quite simple.
BTW I can purchase (this afternoon) anything Mercedes sells so watch the snoot factor.
Why do we have to wait until the 15th which just so happens to be the actual release date? Clearly even you can see how suspicious it all looks/sounds?

it seems strange that a member on these forums since '05 can turn so hostile so quickly. to call out other members ability to afford things seems like a significant jump from his original posts.

This guy supposedly owns a Ferrari, but his avatar was a stock photo of a 458 in a dealer showroom...
So someone who can walk into his garage and take a photo of a Ferrari at anytime chooses to use a generic photo? Then the only photos he posts of "his" S550 are taken at the dealership...? That's just not human nature, instead of taking pride in your own car, maybe he can only take these photos at a dealership?
I use a stock 2014 S-Class photo as my avatar because I don't have my car yet...

I don't believe that he could have gotten title to the car. Fishy to me. I'd think he'd want something a bit more exclusive than the dealer demo. Oh, I forgot- this is the one who plans to trade it in six months for the S63.

The 2014 S-class was released in Middle from as early as 3 weeks ago, even countries like Iran with a closed market have S-class on soil being purchased by buyers from the beginning of September. There is no such thing as "dealer" or "demo" cars in Iran, no such thing what so ever so people are buying these cars. You could walk into a private dealer in Iran right now and buy one and drive it today.

Well definitely looks like legit proof. I know some could argue you test drove the demo to your garage......LOL.....but at this point I think it's time to close the case on this one.

S500 is exactly the same thing as the S550, same engine, same displacement few more hp for Middle East and Europe. The buying power has left America since the recession, its no longer America first class country and everywhere else third world. sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

People on this board lately just turn into collective gang-up types, like a pack of dogs waiting for the first one to draw blood then wag tongues to get a piece of the action. Always resorting to the lowest level of class rather than giving those the benefit of the doubt. I could tell O/P's story sounded legit from the get-go. Peculiar to say the least, considering the circumstances, but legit. What A-hole calls the dealer? The line is drawn when it gets "personal" as in actually and literally personal.
