I'm not the type to ask "How much power do you really need" or else I'd be an embarrassment to car fans everywhere. But exactly, what do you deem acceptable in a big luxury car or the way Mercedes Markets their cars.
Logically speaking, an S600 is the most luxurious car you can get from Mercedes. It does everything you would want a car to do. Top Speed would be north of 200mph if the car were delimited. Its 0-60 time is absolutely incredible.
The S65 is for those that want explosive and devastating power which you could barely keep on the road.
As a youngster, I was taught that some people will never be satisfied with anything, and correct me if I am wrong, but your post seems to air on that theory.
What exactly do you expect of an S600? Could you explain what it is missing?

Not to mention the benefits when driving in rain, snow, and slipper surfaces, it is really disappointing Mercedes' ultimate car lacks AWD. I consider it the omission of a safety feature when AWD is now available with pretty much every other MB vehicle.
