2014 S for me

I don't want to start a new thread about this. I figured this would be a good spot to tell you guys about the incredible turn of events with my car:
You will not believe this. I just got a call from my sales guy who had just gotten off the phone from the VPC people. Yesterday, they told him that my car was on route. He called them again about an hour ago and lo and behold, after some inquiring, my car is still in Baltimore. The transportation company evidently screwed up big time. They promised him that my car will be on the truck tomorrow morning and be in KC on Friday. The sales guy then told me that if it gets there Friday morning, they can get it properly prepped and do whatever to the car so that I can pick it up late Friday. If it doesn’t get there by later Friday, then I will pick it up Saturday. My car was released on March 17 and the ETA for Kansas City was no later than the 27th. The sales guy is very distraught about this chain of events.
I just talked to my friend who is driving me down there and the plan now is for us to drive to KC Thursday evening. They will service his car Friday morning. If my car is not ready for delivery Friday, then will will stay in a hotel again Friday night and have some fun in KC. I told you, that you would not believe this. ALL true. I suppose a few of you guys have similar horror stories about this process. Perhaps the dealer will give me another big discount for having to go though all this crap.

Wow! Thanks for this information Clembo. I will certainly inquire about it. The past 2 weeks have been quite annoying with this process to say the least. Lately, it has felt like I will never see this dream car.

Absolutely gorgeous looking car. Stunning!
Based on what I have seen here, you guys will be disappointed on what my car looks like due its standard wheels and standard black leather. But, I will definitely post photos after I drive it home from KC this weekend.
