Whilst speaking with my SalesPerson yesterday, I opted to add the Heads-Up Display to my build, cost of $990.

I may have asked this before on some other thread, but I will ask this probably stupid question again. Is there any way to install the HUD on the 2014 S 550 now that it is available on the 2015 model?

It would be cool if it could be added to the 2014 S550. Would love to add the HUD to ours!

Great question, really. My initial thought would be no. While the software interfaces could be easily upgraded, I believe the HUD projector is molded into the dashboard & requires a coating on the interior of the windshield. I think you are correct. It appears to be much too complicated to install on the 2014 model. It looks like I am SOL. Thanks for the link. That was fascinating reading about the HUD.
