G is a status car here , thats why many would buy but frankly i'd rather have a rangerover autobiography, so i can justify the money with luxury features and both can do almost the same stuffs.

I understand why, it drives and feels like an SUV Rolls Royce would produce but still has capabilities no regular SUV can enjoy.
Couple weeks ago we had a catastrophic downpour and the road she was on got flooded under the bridge with about 3 feet deep water.
Going around would mean extra 1hour because of detour and traffic.
She went through easy, a Jeep Grand Cherokee following her did not....

My wife used to be a G55/63 fanatic until she got her current LWB Autobiography.

Not for most people! Trust me, ask any MB dealer and they will tell you the GL is one heck of a major export! Money talks and these exporters pay $$$ to people to buy them for them!

@06e55, exactly, gl63 sells for almost $200,000 here when u factor in everything, customs, etc. can u imagine that and some people would still buy it, when a range is almost the same price, i'd rather buy the range autobiography and call it a day......
