Headlights are plug and play, so body shop install when they remove the old bumper.
The body kit is installed by my friend's body shop in S. California.
I'll say it again for everyone, thank you for taking the time to test this system out and confirm it works. You appear to be driving an almost 200k car for a fraction of the cost. It looks FANTASTIC! With that, would love to hear feedback on the headlights. Also, would your buddy be willing to share any feedback on his experience with the install? A couple sentences maybe? Or even a "the kit is straightforward, no comment"?
1. I like the headlights and no modification for installation. But I don't remember how the stock lights work at night. Maybe I don't even have a chance to turn on the headlights before I sent the car to my friend's shop. I don't have the night vision option so if you have the night vision on your headlights, you will need to get another headlight has the night vision.
2. The front and rear bumper's fitment are ok, and modification is minimum. But the sensors on both sides of the rear bumper are going to be a problem. Because my lane change assist is not working. But I don't care since I don't need it when I am driving. Try to get a body kit made in Taiwan, not made in China. I have a very bad experience with a body kit made in China for my W221.
Took advantage of our current crisis and did a full recon :)
I've owned this vehicle since 10/2018...it's not my first MB, however it has been the most satisfying. Starting with how dependable this vehicle has been for me since I purchased it with 42Kmi. It now has 63K and I daily drive it. This is my favorite Mercedes, however my first love was my 1999 CL600 C140. Although timeless and classic, it always needed something. Knock on wood, this W222 has been playing nice. I do service it to a T however.
Thanks for taking the time to check it out and comment! Good bad or ugly!
Stay safe during this mess out there!
PS: Does anyone have a front plate bracket they do not need or haven't installed? I wish I didn't have a front plate but the previous owner butchered the bracket on the car now, and I'd like to correct it!
Thanks,
Pete
2015 S550 Lowered via ODB unit Tuned by BenzWorks in Huntington Beach, CA Resonator Delete Rocker Trim wrapped in chrome Rear trim panel wrapped black 22" Giovanna Spira FF Flow Formed Staggered Rims wrappeed in Toyo Proxes (Noticable improvedment in ride quality after I installed these wheels) The Porcelain/Black just displays the quality of the W222 interior perfectly. Added the "Burmeister" upgraded tweeters. Unfortunately no rear seat pkg Maybach pillows from a great forum member!! I'm not 100% sure of the gains, but I believe its approx 85HP and75 TQ...but don't hold me to that. Nonetheless, she boogies.

It was pretty interesting to receive delivery of my new 2020 S560 during lockdown! The dealer was great, and it required no interaction at all, even to complete the paperwork.

Congrats. Also good to help a dealer during these tough times, I imagine his sales might be down 90% or so this month.
First Merc. It's replacing my Porsche 911 (which is for sale - PM me if you want the details). I had no idea this thing was sooo big! So far I _LOVE_ the car. Can't wait to start driving it. What a crappy time to buy a car!

01 911 turbo. I do love it and I hate to sell it. It’s been between my brother and I for the last 15 years. But I refuse to keep cars outside on the street.

Cls is quicker but doesn’t have the power I would have expected. I had a 2014 cls550, I think the 550 was faster. Overall great car, but I would have preferred a v8.
Thinking about painting it Jet Black. Bought the $550 lowering module from Belarus. Works good just don’t leave it plugged in over night, it will drain your battery. Now that I have the S, the E doesn’t get much love.
